About Dr. Andrew Hartpence
Dr. Andrew Hartpence has been in active practice in Griffin for over 21 years. He opened his first office in 1986. He has been in his present location directly across the street from Chick Fil A since 2004.
As a chiropractor he has focused on disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. His practice has a large focus on accidental injuries caused by auto accidents and work related accidents.
Dr. Hartpence graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1986. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and South Carolina. He has attended many post graduate seminars on a wide range of topics. These include Physiotherapeutic treatments, Chiropractic Pediatrics, Xray, Permanent Impairment Rating and many others. He has worked as a staff doctor at the Atlanta Industrial Medical Clinic where he treated work related injuries.
Dr. Hartpence uses a wide variety of manipulative techniques including Gonstead/Diversified, Thompson, SOT, Activator and Cox Flexion/Distraction. This allows him to personalize the treatment that is most comfortable to the patient. He also incorporates physical therapy into his treatments. These include Intersegmental Traction, Electric Stimulation, Hot/Cold Therapies, Ultrasound and Rehabilitative Exercise.
Beth Long has worked with Dr. Hartpence for 12 years. She handles all your insurance and attorney questions. She also provides physical therapy to the patients.
Dr. Hartpence resides in Henry County with his wife Donna. The have been married 12 years. He has 2 children Alec and Cassie.
Our office also offers Massage Therapy. Therapy is provided by a massage therapist. These sessions are 1 hour in duration at a cost of $60.00 per session.
Civically Dr. Hartpence is involved with many organizations. He is a charter member of the American Business Club. He is also the Master Diving Instructor and Training Coordinator for the Spalding County Sheriff's Office and Pike County Fire Department's Underwater Evidence Recovery and Dive Rescue Team.
